FtR Trading System Performance Update: Jan to Jul 16

Busy...busy...busy...too much work for me lately. I've spent the past few months doing an extensive overhaul on FtR trading system. Begining this August, I am using a new revamp trading system, I name it FtR 11.0. The core principle is still the same. Major improvements are done on entry and exit execution, thanks to a "ALGO Trader" friend's recommendation. Besides that, I also made a breakthrough on system adapting to change. (Thanks to Dr. Brett Steenbarger's impressive book.) You may read my little story in the book too. :)

Anyway, below are the "old" FtR 10.7 System results from Jan to Jul 16:

 Obviously, Jun 16 results are helped by the Brexit votes.

FtR Trading System Performance Update: Jan to Apr 16

I've not updated FtR Trading System Results for the past few months. I was thinking a better way to represent the results to my blog audience. After much thoughts and discussions with some of my trader friends, I decided to publish FtR Trading System Performance in percentage return. If you ask me, it better reflects system's performance and drawdowns level. Hope you guys like the new way.

FtR 10.7 Jan 2016 Signals Update

I am very busy this February because Chinese New Year falls on 8th Feb this year. As usual a lot of preparations being done in early February. Sorry for the late update of FtR 10.7 Jan 2016 monthly results. FtR only did 2 trades with one profit and one losses. Losses is greater than profits, therefore net losses for the first month of the year.

FtR 10.7 Dec 2015 Signals Update

FtR 10.7 System ended 2015 with a final profitable trade in the crude oil market (CL). It performs far less impressive than in year 2014. As I mentioned in January that 2015 might be a challenging year, it is indeed so and thank God FtR 10.7 successfully weathered the 2015 storm. Looking ahead 2016, the market started the year with ferocious and volatile movement across many markets. I hope FtR 10.7 may pick up some profitable trades in this market chaos.
