FtR 10.7 Oct 2015 Signals Update

This month update comes a little bit late because FtR 10.7 system still hold short position in Corn until this morning. However this position is not "heavy" enough to turn the table around. With that, FtR have to endure another draw down month. Looking forward to end this draw down soon, hopefully... :)

FtR 10.7 Sep 2015 Signals Update

Yes, FtR 10.7 suffered losses in September. The win/loss ratio is terrible, only 2 profitable trades out of 8 trades taken. This is trading reality. Low win/ratio doesn't mean one strategy is flaw. Many trend trading strategies have win/loss ratio of about 25-30%. They achieve profitability when the net amount of profits is larger than the net losses losses. However, in my case this month, obviously losses are bigger than profits.

FtR 10.7 Aug 2015 Signals Update

After 2 months of negative return, FtR 10.7 finally reversed the course and registered new equity high in August. I didn't sway from my original trading system when it faces 2 consecutive months of drawdown. I hope this will serve as a good reminder when I am dealing with drawdowns in the future. pat myself on the back :-)

Sorry for the late update. It has been a busy 1st August week for me personally. FtR 10.7 continues its drawdown journey in Jul, retraced about 20% from May top. This is nothing unusual for traders. Will FtR 10.7 reverse its course to U turn into profits? Let the market decides...

Drawdown is inevitable in trading. FtR 10.7 suffered first down month in 2015. This is also the half year performance report. Although not an excellent one, but still managed to stay positive so far. :)

FtR 10.7 May 2015 Signals Update

Ups and downs. This month started with a big win in ZB then market slowly took away all the profits. The last trade, which closed today, bring in very small profits to end this roller coaster May. As consolation, FtR 10.7 still maintain "clean sheet" in 2015. :)

FtR 10.7 Apr 2015 Signals Update

This month, Crude Oil futures, CL rebounds aggressively to test $60 a barrel. FtR 10.7 managed to capture part of the move and grabbed some profit of $3000++ per lot. This trade alone contributed to more than 50% of the total profit for the month of April.

The "usual suspect" ZB also did well for the month of April. Representatives from grain futures, Corn, ZC and Wheat, ZW made some bearish movement while Soybean, ZS remain sideways...
