FtR 10.7 Mar 2015 Signals Update

 

FtR 10.7 Trading System ended 1Q 2015 with another profit month, albeit a small one. 4 out of 7 trades turned out to be losses. And I would say this is normal for trend traders. 4 "consecutive losses" too is no strange thing for us. If you are still searching for all win and no losses (holy grail), then probably trading is not for you.

Globex Trading Hours During Daylight Saving 2015

Daylight saving time 2015 will begin at 2AM on Sunday (08 Mar 2015) in US. Most US states will spring forward an hour. Trading in CME Globex will bring forward an hour too.

Please make sure you wake up 1 hour earlier starting next Monday to key your orders into the Globex platform.

FtR 10.7 Feb 2015 Signals Update

I wouldn't deny the fact that I like ZB, 30Y US Treasury Bonds Futures so much. It came to rescue many times, turns a losing month into profitable one. I know this is wrong to be bias toward certain market, since trading is a probability game, You will never know the future in advance. Preferential treatment (placing more weight of your portfolio in certain market that you like) is suicidal in this business. Don't worry, I still obey my position sizing rules. :)

This month, FtR 10.7 managed to recover from early drawdown and became profitable by the end of the month. So far, after 2 months of trading, everything went smoothly. But I will keep myself alert of any drawdown monsters lying just around the corner.

FtR 10.7 Jan 2015 Signals Update

FtR 10.7 started year 2015 in a leisurely mode, did only 2 trades in January. Win rate is 50% with one win and one loss. Net result is a small profit. Not bad to start with a winning month at least. :)

FtR 10.7 Dec 2014 Signals Update

Happy New Year to all. FtR Trading System ends 2014 with a DRAWDOWN month. I would say finally, the drawdown monster struck. It hurts even though I know losing month is inevitable. From the results, we again see a short in Crude Oil was the saviour, otherwise the system might lose even more. Nevertheless, for the whole year, FtR Trading System achieves another excellent year, pocketing more than USD 30,000 profit (per lot basis). If you begin with an initial capital of USD 25,000 (I have a subscriber who use USD 15,000 to trade 1 flat lot.), you get more than 100% return on capital. :-) I am looking forward 2015 as a challenging year. The plunging of crude oil prices grabs many news headlines around the world these couples of weeks. But as a trader, we are not that interested in the causes and implications of the falling crude oil prices. We prefer to focus on how to participate in the process of falling in crude oil prices.
