FtR 10.7 Sep 2014 Signals Update

I retired FtR 9.7 and replaced it with a much improved version, which I shall call it FtR 10.7 from September 1st. From the table, only 2 trades done for September. Please do not misunderstand that FtR 10.7 limits the numbers of signals generated. In fact, it was market, who determines how many signals are generated and triggered. After all, the market is always right.

In this post, I also summarize FtR Trading system performance for 2014 (until September) for your reference.

FtR 9.7 emjoys a brilliant month this August. Gold, Crude Oil, Bonds and Grains have some pretty good runs this month. FtR 9.7 managed to capture some of the movements and made some profits. As long as market continue to trend, there are profit opportunities for trend trading systems like FtR 9.7.

I have had dreams and I have had nightmares. I overcame the nightmares because of my dreams.

The first trade this month was a nightmare. Lost over 1K per contract in Crude Oil. However, system managed to make a convincing comeback after early scare. At the end, system did pretty well.

There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose; the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to posses it.

In June, FtR 9.7 stays under water for the most of the time. The feeling is not great. The last trade, short on Wheat futures lasted more than a week and worked out to be a winner. This helps FtR 9.7 to maintain a "clean sheet" for the year 2014 so far. However, a lot of market are see-saw-ing at the moment, without a clear trend, it is difficult to make big profit.
